Coca-Cola has confirmed the festive return of its beloved Christmas Truck Tour and it could be coming to an area near you.
The famous red truck will be visiting various locations across the UK and the drinks brand has now revealed its first stop on the tour will be Glasgow.
It will visit the Silverburn Shopping Centre on Wednesday, November 24.
A source from Coca-Cola told Daily Star Glasgow was the first of several locations over the next few days and urged fans to "watch this space for more nationwide announcements".
Much like previous years, hundreds are expected to make their way to their closest truck location to bag a free bottle of Coca-Cola and snap a festive picture to mark the start of the festive season.
One resident reacted to the Glasgow announcement on Facebook writing: "Always silverburn where it's hard for people to get to. Wish it would go to Glasgow city centre where it's more central for everyone."
Another wrote: "Love this truck."
The annual trip was sadly cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, causing major disappointment for many Brits.
Louise Maugest, marketing director at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: "Coca-Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic truck tour.
"With the magic of Christmas needed now more than ever, we thought it was only right that we bring it back this year, safely and securely.
"The Coca-Cola Truck Tour has always been a moment to remind us of the importance of togetherness and community, something particularly prevalent during the festive season."
Before the route was revealed, Coca-Cola was leaving cryptic clues to tease excited fans.
In response to one woman tweeting: "Patiently waiting for the Christmas @CocaCola_GB truck tour to be announced…"
The drinks giant replied: "Keep your eyes on our socials…"
Replying to another post, Coca-Cola wrote: "We're just recruiting the last of our reindeer…"
Another concerned fan asked: "So not even a clue if it is coming back?"
But Coca-Cola replied: "Holidays are coming…" with a Santa Claus emoji sure to send followers into a frenzy.
Other hints included the brand writing: "We've spoken to Santa and he seems pretty eager to us."
