If you’ve got outdoor plans Saturday afternoon, you might want to keep an eye on the sky.
Denver weather forecasters say showers are likely Saturday afternoon and a thunderstorm is possible.
The National Weather Service said there’s a 70% chance things will get wet this afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler as well, with the high expected to reach only 69 degrees.
Winds will be out of the north at about 6 to 9 mph, gusting up to 18 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, the chance for showers and thunderstorms sits at about 50%, mainly before 9 p.m., the weather service said. The overnight low is expected to dip to about 54 degrees.
Things don’t look to improve much on Sunday, as more showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day, according to Denver weather forecasters. The high Sunday is expected to reach 73 degrees with winds gusting up to 20 mph.
