Eugenie ‘upset with Beatrice’ for announcing pregnancy on Meghan’s anniversary

Sisters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice have reportedly been divided over the Royal Family's feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank were upset with Beatrice for announcing her pregnancy on the day of Meghan and Harry's third wedding anniversary, a source told Heat magazine.

The insider said: "Eugenie is still extremely close to Meghan, as is Jack, and they feel it was really unfair to grab the headlines that day.

"Eugenie didn't approve of the decision to shun Meghan and Harry's anniversary — she feels that they have been incredible hard done-by."

The Duke of York's younger daughter, Eugenie, was said to believe that the Royal Family needs to resolve their issues with Meghan and Harry, who have given a string of interviews about them.

Harry and Meghan reportedly announced her pregnancy with Archie, now two, at Eugenie and Jack's wedding back in October 2018.

But it's claimed that she has forgiven the Duchess, and believes her sister was in the wrong to steal their thunder.

The source added: "Eugenie is very forgiving — which is a surprise to a lot of people, especially when you consider how it was an open secret that she found it hurtful that Meghan's pregnancy announcement was made on the day of her and Jack's wedding.

"But she's very much of the opinion that this feud has gone on way too long and everyone needs to forget the past.

"For Beatrice to announce her baby news on that day was uncalled for, in her view."

Prince Harry and Meghan have accused the Royal Family of a string of serious allegations in several interviews over the last few months.

The couple told their Oprah tell-all that their family had refused Meghan help when she was struggling with suicidal thoughts.

They also alleged that an unidentified member of the Royal Family had asked them how dark their son Archie's skin was going to be.

Harry later spoke on the Armchair Expert podcast accusing his family of passing on "genetic pain" and not giving him support when he was struggling.

On his Apple TV+ show The Me You Can't See, Harry spoke once again about being refused help and getting financial cut off from his family.

"Certainly now I will never be bullied into silence," he said.

"I thought my family would help, but every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, just got met with total silence, total neglect.

"We spent four years trying to make it work.

"We did everything that we possibly could to stay there and carry on doing the role and doing the job.

"But Meghan was struggling."

Buckingham Palace was contacted for comment by the Daily Star.
