A new snap of the Sussex family has been released to mark International Women's Day – just hours before their tell all interview with US star Oprah is set to air in the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen with son Archie in a warm embrace in the newly released photo, shared by their photographer pal Misan Harriman on Instagram.

Mr Harriman wrote: "What wonderful news to celebrate on International Women's Day! Congratulations friends and welcome to the #Girldad club H."

Millions of people are expected to tune in to the bombshell chat at 9pm on ITV this evening.

In the interview Harry and Meghan talked about their decision to leave the Royal Family last year, their time at Kensington Palace and the family rift that made countless headlines.

And the palace has found itself embroiled in a race row after the Duchess claimed someone within the firm has expressed "concerns" about the colour of baby Archie's skin.

  • Meghan told Harry she didn't want to be 'alive anymore' before public event

The soon-to-be mum of two said that while she was pregnant with Archie, there had been "several conversations" within the Palace about "how dark" their baby would have been.

The Duchess, 39, said conversations also consisted of Archie not "being given security or a title"

It had been speculated that Harry and Meghan made the decision to turn down a curtesy title from The Queen but Meghan has now said that this was not the case.
