Kate Middleton’s uncle slams Harry and Meghan for throwing royals ‘under a bus’

Kate Middleton’s uncle has one again blasted Harry and Meghan Markle as “muppets” in a recent interview, who threw the royal family “under a bus”.

Gary Goldsmith, brother of Kate’s mother Carole, said that everyone was “massive disappointed” with the behaviour of Prince Harry and wife Meghan in their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Speaking to Australia’s 60 Minutes on Sunday, he also slammed the Duke and Duchess for claiming that his niece reduced Meghan to tears over bridesmaids’ dresses.

This is not the first time he has slammed the couple, with the 55-year-old previously posting a message on LinkedIn branding them “muppets craving attention” after their interview aired in March.

Gary asked them to “shut the F up” and let Britons get on with “saving lives” and the “economy” during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic in the UK.

When he was asked about the post he responded: “I'm embarrassed about doing it but I stand by it”.

He explained: “I'm just very disappointed with them and there's a whole nation that's massively disappointed with them.

“We all love Harry, the whole world loves Harry, but you just don't do what they did.

“You just don't do what they did and then go on Oprah and talk like that. It's just not the way the world works.”

He also took issue with Meghan’s claim that Kate made her cry during an emotional row before her wedding.

“I don't believe a word of it,” he told the Channel Nine program.

“There were a lot of things in that interview I didn't believe.

"Kate would always be the peacemaker in those situations. I think we saw at the funeral (for Prince Philip) that Kate is always trying to make peace.”

He insisted Kate is “even lovelier on the inside than on the outside” and that Meghan was much more likely to be the agitator.
