London bloodbath continues as two men stabbed outside Tesco store in Kilburn

One man has died and the other is fighting for their life following a double stabbing outside a supermarket in North London.

The knife attack has been reported as occurring in the early evening outside a branch of Tesco Express on Willesden Lane in Kilburn in the capital.

The Met Police confirmed the incident to Daily Star News on Saturday evening.

They report that one man aged in his 20s died following the stabbing incident, while a second man, reported as in his teens, is in critical condition.

The police state: "An investigation has been launched following a fatal stabbing in Klburn.

"Police were called at around 1740hrs on Saturday, 6 February, to a stabbing incident in Willesden Lane, NW6.

"Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found two males suffering stab injuries.

"One of the males – aged in his 20s – was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

"A second male – believed to be aged in his teens – was taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as critical.

"There has been no arrest at this early stage. An urgent investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances."

Footage from the scene of the crime has shown police cars, ambulances, and emergency services workers rushing to the area to treat those injured.

Reports have stated that a member of staff at the branch of Tesco Express tried to aid the injured men until emergency services arrive.

A cordon is reportedly in place in both directions on Willesden Lane.

LBC tweeted about the incident on Saturday evening, writing: ""Met Police say two men have suffered critical injuries after a double stabbing in Willesden Lane, Kilburn."

While UKNIP 24 gave details from the scene of the crime.

They report: "Four police cars and a number of first responders and an incident support vehicle from the LAS remain at the scene.

"London Hems Air ambulance doctors have also been scrambled to the scene.

"One of those involved has been given CPR at the scene."

Pictures of the crime scene have circulated on social media appearing to show a number of paramedics treating a person laid on the ground.

While the images also show a number of emergency services vehicles surrounding the area.

The double stabbings in the Kilburn area come amid a weekend of knife crime chaos following a string of stabbings in South London.

Police were called to five incidents in Croydon, south London, on Friday evening between 6.56pm and 9.12pm.

One man has died after a knife attack, while nine others are injured.

The Met Police said said of the Friday night stabbings: "A male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.

"The victim too has been arrested; at this stage it is not thought that the victim's condition is life-threatening."

The number of stabbings in the Croydon area increased to 11 on Saturday as further incidents were recorded.

Croydon police tweeted on Saturday: "Shortly after 3pm, we were notified by London Ambulance Service of a stabbing in London Road near the junction with Oakfield Road."

"Officers attended and a crime scene is in place. A 24-year-old man has been taken to a south London hospital. We await an update on his condition."
