A Brit has come forward claimng to have the winning Euromillions ticket that scooped £79million on Tuesday, the National Lottery operator Camelot has confirmed.
The huge jackpot came in at a whopping £79,315,197.70.
This is the fifth UK EuroMillions jackpot win of the year, and it will now go through the process of validation.
Once the ticket has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their life-changing news.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “It is fantastic news that a lucky ticket-holder has now claimed this enormous prize. We will now focus on supporting the ticket-holder through the process.

“All National Lottery games can be played in your local store, online or via the National Lottery app.
"Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.”
This is a record-breaking win for the lucky UK EuroMillions jackpot winner, as this is the biggest UK win of the year so far.
The win places the lucky ticket-holder on the National Lottery Rich List, at number 15 of the biggest wins ever, and is the fifth UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2020.
Not only that but these wins combined have propelled the UK to the top of the ranks of EuroMillions jackpots won per country, and the UK is now level-pegging with France at 109 jackpots won.
