A 26-year-old man has been convicted in the stabbing death of a man at an Adams County apartment complex.
Ontonio Paul Borrego pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder, according to a district attorney’s office news release.
On May 25, 2019, Borrego stabbed 57-year-old Ruperto Amaya-Aldaco in the neck, the release said. Deputies found Amaya-Aldaco lying in a pool of blood on a sidewalk at the Revival on 72nd apartment complex, 7251 Samuel Drive.
Borrego faces 32 to 48 years in prison when sentenced Oct. 23.
