Meghan Markle and Prince Harry never wanted to rejoin senior royals, experts say

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not expected to rejoin as senior working royals despite having the Queen's blessing, royal experts claimed.

Royally Obsessed hosts Rachel and Bowie and Roberta Fiorito believed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex knew their royal departure was permanent even when they agreed to a one-year review arranged by the Queen.

The review is reported to be in coming March.

In their latest episode in the podcast, Roberta discusses further, asking her co-host: "I don't think they ever wanted to return, right?

"It feels like they never wanted to go back to the Royal Family anyway."

Rachel added that there is so much speculation about the one-year agreement with the Queen.

She says: "But we know from the Queen's statement that yes there was a lot of difficult aspects of the announcements, the timing of it by Harry and Meghan for example.

"But I think they have the Queen's blessing and they are still working on her behalf."

Roberta then argued if the review could be a way to hash out the details of Harry and Meghan's separation from the royal family.

She explains: "My takeaway of the year in review was that they just needed to hash out all the logistics and details of how it would all work.

"I got the vibe that this was very permanent on their end and something the Queen knew was permanent.

"They had just separated their legal officers from Buckingham Palace and that just happened now.

"It did take a full 12 months to work out those details so I do think that was never part of the plan.

"As much as we would love to have that reunion and I think it will come, but I don't think Meghan and Harry will ever rejoin as senior working royals."
