A weather warning has been issued for a huge chunk of the south east and some areas across the border in Scotland. It makes a huge change from the boiling temperatures of Friday, July 31, which has been one of the hottest days in history for the UK.
The Met Office has put out two weather warnings tonight with the arrival of thunderstorms and heavy rain to batter the south and north east of England and east of Scotland.
The rain is not expected to last after Saturday morning in the affected areas, but rain will be seen elsewhere in the UK.
The weather warning for England ranges from Hull in the north, down the coast, covering London and Brighton.
The report reads that many places will stay dry, but isolated thunderstorms will occur throughout the night.
