Tiny rescue kitten just 3 weeks old snuggles as close to his owner as possible

An impossibly cute kitten adopted from an animal shelter has adopted an adorable routine to hug his owner.

In a clip that has already received more than 80,000 upvotes in a matter of hours, the three-week-old cat crawls up his owner's jumper.

He then finds his way into the hood and squeezes next to his neck.

Content with his new sleeping spot, the kitten then turns around to face the camera.

The clip was uploaded last night by Redditor BoarderGod, who explained in the caption: “Our 3-week-old rescue likes to nuzzle extra close and I couldn't be happier.”

Unsurprisingly, the heartwarming sight proved a huge hit with the online community.

“The little smile on this man knowing he is the chosen one,” one viewer wrote.

Another commented: “Dude, thank you. This made my night.”

A third added: “Adorable, kitten love is the best.”

While someone else said: “I have never been this envious. You two are very cute.”

And it is not the only pet video to have pulled at the heartstrings of viewers over the past few weeks.

Footage emerged yesterday of a kitten desperately trying to meow for attention at a shelter.

His howls were in fact so loud that a person who had arrived to pick up a dog ended up leaving with the feline as well.

Meanwhile, a cat camera recorded heartbreaking “evidence” that felines really do miss their owners earlier this week.

The footage shows a cat becoming unbelievably excited when he spots his owner coming home through the window.
