Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting outside Coors Field.
Denver police on Tuesday identified the suspects as Rayvell Powell, 30, and Javon Price, 21. both men are being investigated for first-degree murder and first-degree assault. They were arrested on Monday night.
The shooting happened at about 10:30 p.m. Friday as thousands of Rockies fans streamed from the ballpark, some going to night spots in the busy LoDo area. One man, a concession worker at Coors Field, died and another man was taken to a local hospital. The A Gate at the ballpark was closed by the violence.
Police described the surviving victim as an “uninvolved bystander.” His injuries are not life-threatening. The fatal victim was in an argument with two people when he was shot, police said.
The shooting was one of four overnight Friday in Denver that left two people dead and seven wounded.
