    At least one person has died following a horror 'blood-splattering' hit and run in Melbourne, Australia.<\/p>\n

    Dramatic footage shared online shows the flashing blue and red lights of emergency vehicles light up a bustling street as a woman is treated on the road. <\/p>\n

    Police have arrested the suspected driver and taken into custody.<\/p>\n

    According to the video's caption on Twitter \/ X, a car rammed people down in front of dozens of screaming onlookers.<\/p>\n

    6News Australia reports a car ploughed through a tram stop at the corner of Bourke Street and Russell Street, hitting up to three people.<\/p>\n

    Beside one woman on the ground appears to be a splattering on blood across the white road markings.<\/p>\n

    Further images on social media suggest the car smash has left two people needing emergency attention outside McDonald's.<\/p>\n

    The victims are lying all but motionless on the road shared several yards apart. <\/p>\n

    Victorian road authorities said: "The intersection of Bourke Street and Russell Street in Melbourne's CBD is closed in all directions, due to an emergency services incident."<\/p>\n
