A Russian solider has claimed to be the one who destroyed the UK's feared Challenger 2 tank in Ukraine. . . and insists he did it with \u201cone shot\u201d. <\/p>\n
The \u00a34.2million beast was labelled a \u201cdeath machine\u201d by industry experts just hours before it was later seen in a fiery ball of flames on the battlefield last week.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak promised to send the tanks to Ukraine in January.<\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Defence, the tanks are the UK's main battle tanks, built to destroy other tanks.<\/p>\n
However, the first one used in battle was destroyed shortly after arriving in the country.<\/p>\n
A video of the tank in tatters somewhere in the small village of Rabotino, in the Voskresenskoye Rural Settlement in Ukraine, was shared on the Wagner-affiliated Grey Zone Telegram group.<\/p>\n

And now the same Telegram channel has shared a video of a Russian soldier claiming that he was the one who blew the tank apart, and it was all done with just one shot.<\/p>\n
The man is supposedly from the 108th regiment of the Seventh Guards. <\/p>\n
In the clip, the man is wearing a thick face mask and full army gear.<\/p>\n
Only part of is able to be translated using Google Translate in which he explained that the united \u201cnoticed that the equipment was moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Grey Zone post confirms that the man states that he blew the tank up \u201cwith one shot\u201d and clarifies that he used a 9M133 Kornet missile to do so.<\/p>\n
The equipment is a Russian-made portable anti-tank guided missiles built specifically to destroy battle tanks.<\/p>\n
It has been used by the Russian army since 1998, and has a 10lb warhead costing around \u00a320k per missile which is guided by lasers.<\/p>\n
The UK has sent 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine, despite the fact the British Army only had 157 of them before doing so.<\/p>\n
