Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. That old saying rings true across today's world of crime, with some of the planet's most ruthless gangs now headed up by terrifying women.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a look at the bloodthirsty crew, from a Chinese gang boss with 16 lovers to a murderous Australian mum determined to avenge her son's death.<\/p>\n

First is the female guerrilla fighter known by her alias of Patricia, who allegedly abducted Liverpool star Luis Diaz\u2019 father in October 2023. Patricia heads up Colombian terrorist group ELN\u2019s regional unit and managed to rise through the ranks "due to her leadership and ability to conduct special operations", according to local media.<\/p>\n

According to the Sun, women now make up more than 30 percent of Italian mafia firms, a trend that seems to be creeping across the world. Patricia isn\u2019t alone \u2013 another deadly woman at the top of the criminal food chain is South African Simone Jasmin, 35, known as \u201cQueen of the South\u201d.<\/p>\n

Jasmin allegedly ran a drug gang out of Wentworth called "The Cartel " before she was assassinated in 2020. After her first boyfriend died, Jasmin reportedly dated three other gang members, all of whom were killed in drug wars, earning herself the new nickname "Black Widow" in the process.<\/p>\n
