A dog owner was left shocked after spotting a portrait of her pooch – on his chest.
Fran Dickson had been grooming her dog Murph when she noticed an unusual marking. She took a second look at the Schnauzer-Bichon mix – noticing a marking which resembled a dog’s face and ears.
Darker spots eyes and nose – a spitting image of her pooch. Fran, from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia said: “Our dog Murph has a self portrait on his chest." Other pet lovers spotted the resemblance.

Ellen Smock said: "That is so awesome." Brittany Dominique said: "It’s called a murph mark." Taylor Wesley said: “His chest tattoo of himself."
Other comments referenced the hit Christopher Nolan film Inception. Daniel Diaz said: "Dog inception." Alvin John Embuido said: "Dogception." Jason joked: "The un-canine-y."
Murph is not the only cute dog to make the news recently, with the Daily Star reporting how one pooch visited the same Subway store 'every night for a year' to be fed in heart-warming footage that went viral.

The fast-food joint took the pooch, nicknamed 'Subway Sally', into their hearts after she began to show up for grub every day. One of the workers at the branch, Giovanni Luhman, posted footage of Sally sitting patiently outside the door waiting for her daily meal, and woke up the next day to discover the TikTok clip had been viewed thousands of times.
It was later revealed the dog did indeed have owners and a home to stay in, but they had been struggling to look after her properly. An animal charity has since stepped in to aid the pup, who no longer needs to wait for her meals at the restaurant.
