At least one person has died following a horror 'blood-splattering' hit and run in Melbourne, Australia.
Dramatic footage shared online shows the flashing blue and red lights of emergency vehicles light up a bustling street as a woman is treated on the road.
Police have arrested the suspected driver and taken into custody.

According to the video's caption on Twitter / X, a car rammed people down in front of dozens of screaming onlookers.
6News Australia reports a car ploughed through a tram stop at the corner of Bourke Street and Russell Street, hitting up to three people.
Beside one woman on the ground appears to be a splattering on blood across the white road markings.
Further images on social media suggest the car smash has left two people needing emergency attention outside McDonald's.
The victims are lying all but motionless on the road shared several yards apart.
Victorian road authorities said: "The intersection of Bourke Street and Russell Street in Melbourne's CBD is closed in all directions, due to an emergency services incident."
