Police are investigating a Sunday night crash involving a motorist and a pedestrian in Aurora that left one person dead.
The crash occurred on Peoria Street at about 10:20 p.m., closing the roadway from 19th Avenue to Montview Boulevard, the Aurora Police Department said on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter.
The driver and vehicle remained on scene after the crash, police said.
No information has been released on whether the driver will face charges stemming from the crash.
