There was significant fighting on Tuesday night in Jenin, a Palestinian militant stronghold. The Israeli military’s large operation in the West Bank in July was focused on this settlement.

Large crowds carried the bodies of three of those killed overnight through the camp during the burials, two covered in the banners of the Islamist terrorist group Hamas and one draped in the flag of Islamic Jihad.

On Wednesday, the Israeli military said that during an overnight arrest operation in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, near the Palestinian city of Jericho, forces fired at a Palestinian who was throwing bombs at them.
